Six people were killed on Sunday in occupied areas of Ukraine and in a border village, local Russian authorities said, while one person died in a Russian attack in Ukraine, according to Kyiv.

These strikes come the day after attacks which left 20 dead in the two countries and while, more than four years after the start of the large-scale Russian offensive against Ukraine, diplomacy is at a standstill and the war is causing a growing number of civilian victims.
In Gorlivka, a town in the eastern part of Ukraine occupied by Russia, four people were killed and others injured in a Ukrainian drone attack, Mayor Ivan Prikhodko said on Telegram.
Another person died in the occupied part of the Kherson region, according to Moscow-installed officials.
In the village of Smorodino in the Belgorod border region, a man was killed by a drone, the regional administration announced, while the governor of the Kursk region announced three injured in the town of Rylsk.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, 133 drones were intercepted overnight in different regions, including Moscow and annexed Crimea.
The Ukrainian president, for his part, announced that a Russian drone attack on residential buildings left “one dead and nine injured, including two children”, in Kharkiv, in the east of the country.
Russia launched eight missiles and 136 drones overnight, of which six and 104 were intercepted, respectively, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.
“The capital was hit by ballistic missiles, and three people were injured,” added Volodymyr Zelensky.
Three other people were injured in eastern Ukraine, according to local authorities.
On Saturday, in the occupied part of the Zaporizhia region in southern Ukraine, the official installed by Moscow claimed that a Ukrainian attack on a “tourist camp” on the edge of the Sea of Azov had killed twelve people, including four children.
