
Moscow region targeted by more than 390 drones
The Moscow region was targeted overnight by more than 390 drones, the mayor of the Russian capital said on Tuesday July 28, causing damage to homes according to the authorities.
“More than 390 drones headed towards the Moscow region” and “most were neutralized well before reaching the city,” Sergei Sobyanin wrote on Telegram, specifying that “81 enemy drones (had) been destroyed as they approached Moscow.”
The governor of the Moscow region, Andrei Vorobyov, reported on the same social network a damaged building and houses, without reporting any casualties for the time being.
Zelensky expected at the White House
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is expected at the White House to speak with Donald Trump and once again try to win the support of his American counterpart against Russia.
This visit scheduled for 9:30 a.m. (local time) comes at a time when Ukraine and Russia are ramping up their long-range strikes, while diplomatic efforts by the United States have stalled, more than four years after the start of the Russian invasion.
