Disney+ has finally shared an update on Percy Jackson and the Olympians. The acclaimed series, based on the books of the same name by Rick Riordan, returns for a third season. The first minutes of the new episodes were shown at San Diego Comic Con and the highly anticipated release date has also been shared. According to lead actor Walker Scobell, fans can expect ‘the most faithful’ book adaptation of the series!
The Titan’s Curse
The third season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians is based on The Titan’s Curse, also the third book in Riordan’s series. Percy Jackson is on a dangerous mission in the new season. While outrunning monsters and outwitting gods, he must travel across America to bring back Zeus’ Master Lightning and prevent all-out war. With the help of his companions Annabeth and Grover, Percy’s journey brings him closer to the answers he seeks: how to find his place in a world where he doesn’t belong, and discover who he is meant to be.
