Another temporal debate is agitating Morocco, beyond the ninety minutes of football which will pit France against the Sherifian Kingdom on Thursday, in the quarter-final of the World Cup played in the United States. The authorities announced at the beginning of July that they were going to return to the permanent summer time in force for eight years, and restore Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) from September 20. It is a victory for the supporters of this option, who have been making their demands since March in a petition in favor of a “natural rhythm dictated by the position of the Earth in relation to the sun”. The approach gathered more than 300,000 signatures.
