This shows that the upheavals of the war in the Middle East, and its consequences on roller coaster oil prices, made the European Central Bank (ECB) procrastinate, before it finally resolved to increase its rates by 0.25 points on Thursday June 11, raising the deposit rate, which is the benchmark, from 2% to 2.25%.
