
“He was inspiring,” say those who knew him, especially young Christian farmers. Jean-Louis Laureau, winegrower and arborist, died Tuesday June 9, 2026 at the age of 95. He was known for having founded the Paysanne Days in 1991, an association which brings together around 300 Christian farmers each year to meet and reflect on their faith and their farming practices.
