On this release day of Steven Spielberg’s latest film, Disclosure Day, a small queue stretches in front of the Max Linder Panorama cash register. In this legendary cinema on the Grands Boulevards, there is no automatic cash register or popcorn dispenser. The clientele of regulars and movie buffs comes from all over Paris for the quality of the room and the projection which have made the place’s reputation for decades. “Spielberg at Max Linder, you can’t miss it…” Arthur commented on the cinema’s Facebook page. Enough to delight its owner for more than twenty years, Claudine Cornillat, who is counting heavily on the latest opus of this legend of American cinema to boost attendance.
