
The killing of the daily Nepszabadsag, the ousting of Klubradio’s FM band, the takeover of the Index site… Those who, during the sixteen years under Viktor Orban, deplored the fall of press freedom and media pluralism in Hungary, today have reason to rejoice in the black screen which fell on Tuesday – temporarily – on the public media.
