This year, the first days of summer will not go unnoticed. After the unprecedented temperatures of May, France has been experiencing its first heat wave of the year since Wednesday. Sunday June 21, temperatures could soar up to 40°C locally. As of this Thursday, 69 departments are on heatwave yellow alert, and some could switch to orange in the afternoon, indicates Météo France.
