
La Croix: Why did the Emmaus movement decide to openly position itself against far-right ideas?
Bruno Morel: The National Rally (RN) is adorned with a social veneer and its ideas are infusing more and more into society. I didn’t think that one day my country would reach this point. A few months after the municipal elections and less than a year before the presidential election, we must therefore act concretely. On June 12, we voted for a motion to make the fight against far-right ideas a priority for the coming year. Unpublished, it is accompanied by the first issue of our Journal in a year’s time.
