Now that the release of the miniseries is getting closer, the streaming service is sharing some new images of the upcoming Spanish Netflix Original. The trailer provides a new look at the tragic journey that awaits the main character.
Great emptiness
Greta’s entire life had only one goal: to save her sister Lucy from leukemia with her stem cells. But the unthinkable happens. Lucy dies and leaves Greta with a great void; who is she without her sister? However, Lucy leaves behind a final gift: The Map of Longing.
This unique game forces Greta to look her pitch-black sadness straight in the eyes and discover her own identity. Her journey intersects with that of Will, an enigmatic boy battling his own dark past. Together they face the ultimate question: can you really love someone else if you don’t love yourself?
Book adaptation
The miniseries The map of desires is a film adaptation of the Spanish novel of the same name by Alice Kellen. The Netflix Original stars Alicia Falcó, Mar de plástico actor Pablo Álvarez and Élite actress Georgina Amorós. Laia Marull, Olympo actor Mario de la Rosa and Ramón Barea are also part of the cast.
