They starred together in the popular teen series for years The Vampire Diaries (2009–2017), and in a while they will be seen together again in a series. Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley are roped in together for You Deserve to Knowa series adaptation of Aggie Blum Thompson’s novel of the same name.

The story of the new project revolves around three couples who live on the outskirts of the city. When the husband of one of the women is murdered, secrets come to light and the question becomes what remains of their long-cherished friendships.
Good acquaintances
Dobrev and Wesley will play two of the neighbors, Gwen and Scott, who are both on opposite sides of the murder investigation. Grand Hotel creator Brian Tanen started working on the screenplay, based on the book that was not released until 2025. The two leading actors acted together for years The Vampire Diaries (as Elena and Stefan). Dobrev will also soon be in a thriller with Russell Crowe and Aaron Paul (The Get Out), while Wesley has a recurring role in the third season of the Apple series The Buccaneers (2023– ).
It is not yet clear when You Deserve to Know must come true. The production has been picked up by Hulu, which means we can expect the series in the Netherlands on Disney+.
