As if some viewers weren’t sweating enough while watching the survival thriller Fall (2022), an adrenaline-rich sequel is planned for later this year. The trailer of Fall 2: Deadpoint (2026) can now be seen and shifts the action from the radio tower to a shaky rock plateau.
New location
After the events of the first film, Hunter’s grieving sister tries to cope with her suffering and heads to Taipei, where a daring ‘plank walk’ has been set out on Mount Kwam. In the company of her fearless friend Luce, the two fully embrace this physical challenge. The situation becomes dire when an unforeseen rockslide leaves them stranded on a fragile shelf on the rock wall, with no immediate means of escape…
Sister and girlfriend
“Stress level: 200%,” one viewer notes beneath the newly revealed trailer footage, in which any misstep could lead to instant death. As for the main characters, it takes some time to get used to new faces: Harriet Slater and Arsema Thomas take the places of Grace Caroline Currey and Virginia Gardner, who, according to the cast details, will be seen in the sequel. The Spierig brothers (Predestination (2014), Jigsaw (2017)) have taken on the direction.
