The universe of the acclaimed crime series Power (2014–2020) continues to expand. After an update on the planned prequel spin-off Power: Origins There is now also news about a series that continues previous storylines. For the newcomer in question, franchise stars Joseph Sikora and Michael Rainey Jr. tied up.

Power: Legacythat is the name of the series that will continue the events Power Book IV: Force (2022–2026). This third spin-off of the original series revolved mainly around Tommy Egan (Sikora), who does everything he can to keep his affairs together in Chicago. In the end, Tommy successfully teams up with Tariq (Rainey Jr.), who tells his uncle that he could really use his help in New York.

The preliminary synopsis of Legacy reads as follows: the two indeed return to New York, where they leave their mark on the city in a stormy manner. Gary Lennon, who is also known for his contribution to the original series Euphoria (2019–2026), will serve as the sequel’s showrunner. Curtis Jackson (50 Cent) produces the new spin-off. The famous rapper has been around since the beginning Power closely involved with the franchise and previously played a role himself.
The series was ordered by Starzwhich is not accessible in the Netherlands. Whether and when the spin-off will be shown here remains to be seen.
