EU denounces “massive” Russian strikes on Ukraine
The President of the European Council Antonio Costa denounced on Thursday July 30 new “massive” strikes carried out in Ukraine overnight by Russia and the “violation of Polish airspace”.
These attacks “underline once again that Russia’s aggression constitutes a threat to the security of the whole of Europe,” assured the leader, who chairs the institution bringing together the 27 heads of state and government of the EU, in a publication on X.
Last night, Russia launched a massive combined strike against Ukraine.
During the attack, Polish airspace was also violated, underlining once again that Russia’s aggression is a threat to the security of Europe as a whole.

Two warehouses of the Russian e-commerce giant targeted by new attacks
Two warehouses of the Russian online commerce giant Wildberries, in the crosshairs of Ukrainian strikes for around two weeks, were targeted overnight by new Ukrainian drone attacks, the group and local authorities said on Thursday July 30. In the Penza region (west), one person was injured and more than 200 employees were evacuated following a drone attack which caused a fire at a local Wildberries warehouse, according to regional governor Oleg Melnitchenko.
“The logistics chains have been reorganized, the receipt of goods and the shipping of orders are carried out on other sites,” Wildberries said in a press release. Another Wildberries warehouse was targeted overnight by a Ukrainian drone attack in Sarapul, about 1,100 km east of Moscow, and a fire broke out there, according to the group.
Zelensky urges delivery of anti-ballistic missile systems
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has again urged his allies to deliver anti-ballistic missile systems to kyiv to fight “Russian terror”, after Moscow launched 74 missiles and 284 drones at Ukraine overnight, killing at least 8 people.
“This Russian terror proves once again that protection against the threat of Russian missiles is the most important thing,” Volodymyr Zelensky said on X, adding that Ukraine faced “a critical shortage of air defense missiles from our partners.”

Eight dead in Russian bombings, including six from the same family
Six members of a family living near Kryvyï Rig were killed, one person died in kyiv and another in Poltava, during Russian strikes on the night from Wednesday to Thursday, a few hours after a warning of an imminent “massive attack” formulated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“In a village on the outskirts of Kryvyï Rig, a direct hit from an Iskander-M ballistic missile, launched from Voronezh, hit a private house where a large family lived, killing two girls aged 5 and 12 as well as four adults,” the head of the municipal military administration of Kryvyï Rig, Oleksandr Vilkoul, said on Telegram.
“Eight other people were injured, including two children, boys aged 6 and 15,” added the same source. The council of the village of Novopillia where the Voronov family was located offered its condolences. In the capital “one death has been confirmed,” the kyiv military administration announced on Telegram. Two people were injured in the capital, authorities later said. In the Brovary district of the Ukrainian capital region, five people were injured, including a minor and two women.
