
It’s not for lack of trying. After two days of meetings in Cyprus, on Tuesday July 28 and Wednesday July 29, with officials from the Republic of Cyprus, in the South, and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), the Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, managed to secure… the organization of a new meeting without a specific date. This will include in its ranks the two parties, their guarantors and the UN, and will attempt to resolve a fifty-year-old conflict which cuts the island in two.
