
Taylor Sheridan has announced two new films. The creator of hit series such as Yellowstone (2018–2024), Tulsa King (2022– ) in Mayor of Kingstown (2021– ) has made films before, but has lately stuck with television. The two new films will change that!
Yellowstone-maker
We can no longer ignore Taylor Sheridan. He has become a powerhouse in the TV world with worldwide successes such as Yellowstone, Tulsa King, Mayor of Kingstown, 1923 (2022–2025), Special Ops: Lioness (2023– ) in The Madison (2026– ). But Sheridan is certainly no stranger to cinema films. So he wrote screenplays Sicario (2015), Sicario: Day of the Soldado (2018) in Hell or High Water (2016). However, it remained quiet for a long time regarding new projects. See you now!
Two new projects
Bosque Ranch Productions, Sheridan’s company, and 101 Studios have now announced that they have the rights to the films Visalia in Capture the Flagtwo productions already written by Taylor Sheridan herself. Both films were created by Andrew Lauren, the producer of the acclaimed drama film The Brutalist (2024). According to the producer, he has been working on the films for years.
