The Hawk (2026– ) has now been streaming on Netflix for a few days and the comedy series with Will Ferrall is doing surprisingly well worldwide! The latest Netflix Original is high in the Top 10 and has good viewing figures. Everything points to a sequel, but it gets The Hawk will there really be a season 2 on Netflix?
King of the golf course
Lonnie ‘The Hawk’ Hawkins (Will Ferrell) was the absolute king of the golf course in the distant past. But that was in 2004. Now, in the autumn of his career, the legend is fighting to regain his former glory. His worn-out body begs for retirement, his ex-wife thinks he is crazy and his own son Lance, the new golden boy of the golf world, is sure that his father is history. Yet Lonnie refuses to throw in the towel. There is still one major missing to complete the legendary Grand Slam.
Will Ferrell en Molly Shannon
In addition to Ferrell in the lead role of Lonnie, the cast includes The Hawk also consists of Molly Shannon, Jimmy Tatro, Fortune Feimster, Luke Wilson, Chris Parnell, Katelyn Tarver, David Hornsby, Gabriel Hogan and Aida Osman. Ferrell created and produced the brand new comedy series together with Jessica Elbaum and Alix Taylor.

Season 2?
The Hawk is streamed en masse worldwide and is also popular with many viewers. The ending also leaves enough open for a possible second part. But unfortunately Netflix hasn’t said anything about that yet. A second season of the comedy series with Ferrell is not yet on the agenda, but fortunately that could still change. So just be patient.
