Summer series: Trip to the Baronnies of the Pyrenees
Such an establishment, a senior residence, here in Bourg-de-Bigorre, a village of less than 200 inhabitants in the heart of the Baronnies? Of course we don’t expect it. It’s a real landmark, however, written on the sign to the left after the church, please take the “Route de la Marpa”. Let’s go. A few houses pass by, and a rural setting is revealed for the charming building and its accommodation on the two wings, a few cars parked in front, a sign of activity which contrasts with the surrounding calm. Let’s go in.
