Good news for fans of He-Man: the new fantasy film Masters of the Universe (2026) can be viewed on Prime Video from today. The film brings the iconic 80s hero back to life and takes viewers back to the magical world of Eternia.

In Masters of the Universe the film focuses on Prince Adam, who returns to his homeworld Eternia. Meanwhile, Eternia is oppressed by Skeletor, with whom Adam battles to save his family and his world.
Famous franchise
The film is based on Mattel’s popular toy line, which became one of Mattel’s best-known franchises in the 1980s, partly thanks to the animated series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (1983–1984). With the new film, the franchise aims to introduce a new generation of viewers to He-Man, while also serving old fans with the familiar world of Eternia.
