Is the bill creating a right to assistance in dying definitively adopted by deputies on July 15 consistent with the Constitution? After the Republican President of the Senate Gérard Larcher and then Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu, who announced, even before the vote, their intention to each refer the issue to the Constitutional Council, it is the turn of parliamentarians to refer the text to the wise people who will have one month to say whether, yes or no, in their opinion, it responds, in whole or in part, to the principles guaranteed by the fundamental law.
