
On the Favaloro mole, which blocks the port of Lampedusa, they stretch in single file on the cement dike, before getting into minibuses dispatched for the occasion. Coast guards, police and association volunteers are waiting for these migrants who have braved the sea to reach the Italian island, located around a hundred kilometers off the coast of Tunisia.
