Young Sheldon (2017–2024) was presented in 2017 as a spin-off from The Big Bang Theory (2007–2019) and subsequently grew into a true audience favorite. The spin-off had a total of seven seasons. The prequel, in which we follow the young Sheldon Cooper, will soon also be coming to Netflix!
Prequel
Jim Parsons starred in the beloved sitcom The Big Bang Theory starring Sheldon Cooper. The role was so popular that it got its own series in 2017: Young Sheldon. In this prequel, which delves into the brainy geek’s childhood, Parsons lends his voice over, but the role of Sheldon is played by Iaine Armitage.
To Netflix
The spin-off was extremely popular and proved to be loved by many fans of the original series. Its success resulted in seven seasons in total, the last of which premiered in 2024. Young Sheldon was broadcast on television, but could also be seen here in the Netherlands on HBO Max and Videoland. A new home base will soon be added, because Young Sheldon can also be found on Netflix this month!
