That’s the third and final season of the HBO hit series Euphoria (2019–2026) brought quite a challenge for leading actress Sydney Sweeney, is probably putting it mildly. Cassie’s transformation into an OnlyFans model was much discussed during the release of the episodes, even though the actress herself stands behind her choices. In fact; Sweeney appears to be disappointed that another spicy scene was deleted in the montage.
In the apprenticeship
In conversation with Vanity Fair the star reveals The Housemaid (2025) that she took pole dancing lessons for a while in order to be able to pole dance credibly for the filming of season 3. A scene in which she did this was actually recorded, but ultimately did not make the final cut.
Not appropriate
Series creator Sam Levinson explained to Sweeney by telephone that the scene in question did not sufficiently fit the episode in question and the actress wanted that. At the same time she was disappointed:
It was really nice to [die lessen te volgen] …Just imagine that crazy Cassie on a pole, that would have been hilarious

Behind the scenes
It is not entirely impossible that we will ever see the images with Sweeney again, because Levinson himself would have suggested that they one day be released as behind-the-scenes material. Season 3 has been out since last week Euphoria can be streamed in its entirety on HBO Max.
