Only a few more weeks to go and then it will appear Supergirl (2026) in theaters. To get in the mood, the makers have revealed new clips from the film. We get to see the first awkward encounter between Supergirl and Superman, as well as a comical scene introducing us to Supergirl’s powers. The images can now be seen.
Origin vs future
At the end of the month we will see Kara Zor-El, Supergirl, face an unexpected enemy. Contrary to expectations, she is forced to work with an unlikely ally. They experience a lot together and Kara has no choice but to face her own origins in order to work on her future as a superhero. The leading role is played by Milly Alcock. There are also roles for Matthias Schoenaerts, David Krumholtz, Jason Momoa and Eve Ridley.
Good prognosis
After the success of Superman what interest in Supergirl already big and the first images only seem to fuel those expectations further. There has been a remarkably positive response to the trailer on social media, with the lighter tone and extra touch of humor being particularly appreciated. The presence of Momoa as Lobo also creates enthusiasm. The interest also translates into expectations at the cinema box office, with early forecasts predicting an opening weekend of more than 55 million dollars in the United States.
