With Ercole amante, baroque opera makes its return to the Opéra Bastille. Composed by a Venetian refugee at the French court, the work plunges Hercules into the traps of a guilty passion. Chef Leonardo Garcia Alarcon and director Netia Jones are the creators of the show, on view from May 28.
