Old pain
A particularly persistent companion appears in season 2: the inner child. For Björn Diemel (Tom Schilling), this not only means dealing with external conflicts – with the complications and ongoing tensions surrounding his mafia activities – it especially means that he, together with Joschka Breitner (Peter Jordan), must face his own conditioning: old pain, deeply held beliefs and patterns that influence his actions more than he would like.

Tom Schilling returns as Björn Diemel, with Emily Cox again as Katharina (his wife), Peter Jordan as mindfulness coach Joschka Breitner and Murathan Muslu as gangster Sascha. Season 2 is based on the second book in the popular series by Karsten Dusse, The child in me wants to murder mindfully.
