
It is a ritual that knows no crisis. Every June, as soon as the supermarket gondola heads are covered with colorful covers, French families leave with the same little booklet under their arm. In 2024, 4.7 million holiday notebooks will be sold in France, according to Livres Hebdo: a figure up slightly over ten years, when the book market is going through turbulence. Sold on average around €8, it is mainly sold in supermarkets.
