Laws are rarely adopted unanimously. Nothing scandalous in democracy, which consists of the free confrontation of opinions, decided by a majority vote. In June 1936, however, this was the case in the Chamber of Deputies during the vote on the law establishing the first two-week paid leave: 592 for, none against.
