Prison series fans Prison Break (2005–2017) have had to do without the hit for a while recently, but fortunately that is changing. A reboot is in the making! Lukas Gage, one of the main characters from the upcoming Prison Break series, already reveals some first details: “Grim.”
First details
Prison Breakstarring Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller, ended in 2017. Some time ago, Hulu announced a real reboot! The upcoming series, which follows new characters in the same world, has been in the works for some time. Lukas Gage, who plays a novice politician in the reboot, tells the first details in conversation with Variety.
‘Ugly a meadow’
“It’s grim, dark and scary,” says the actor (known from, among others The White Lotus (2021– )) to the entertainment website. The reboot stands alone, but according to Gage it is full of nods to the original. “We’re not trying to recreate the magic of the original series.” According to the actor, the big difference is that this series is made by Hulu, and not by Fox, where the original series was shown: “This allows us to go much further and make the story a lot rawer.”

Prison Break (2005‑2017)
Due to a political conspiracy, an innocent man is sentenced to death and his only hope is his brother, who makes it his mission to deliberately get himself sent to the same prison to help them both escape from prison.
When to see?
In the brand new Prison Breakseries, we see Emily Browing and Drake Rodger in the cast alongside Gage. Other roles are played by Clayton Cardenas, JR Bourne, Georgie Flores and Myles Bullock, among others. The series is the work of screenwriter Elgin James. Unfortunately, it is still unknown when the new one will be available Prison Breakseries appears.
