
One more candidate. On June 9, by announcing his intention to run in the 2027 presidential election, the socialist mayor of Saint-Ouen (Seine-Saint-Denis), Karim Bouamrane, added his name to a list of contenders which continues to grow, mainly on the left. While the ecologist Delphine Batho has just entered the race, there are still many who maintain the suspense, starting with former president François Hollande who has given himself until the end of the year to come out of the woods.
