On December 21, 1988, Pan Am Flight 103 exploded over the Scottish town of Lockerbie. The attack, the deadliest terrorist act ever on British soil, killed 270 people. What followed was the largest murder investigation ever carried out by Scottish police.
True story
Based on stories from those directly involved, this tells the true story about the collaboration between the Scottish and American investigation services, and the emotional search for justice by the relatives. The six-part series highlights the lives of the surviving relatives and explores the aftermath of the explosion and the painstaking investigation into the perpetrators.
Cast members
The new British miniseries has a nice cast. The leading roles are played by Connor Swindells (Sex Education (2019–2023)), Patrick J. Adams (Suits (2011–2019)) a Merritt Wever (Severance (2022– )). It also stars Peter Mullan, Tony Curran, Eddie Marsan, Nicholas Gleaves and Kevin McKidd The Bombing of Pan Am 103.
