The Idaho Murders: College Nightmare is directed by Skye Borgman. That is a familiar face of Netflix, because it previously also made the acclaimed documentaries Unknown Number: The High School Catfish (2025), Girl in the Picture (2022) in Evil Influencer: The Jodi Hildebrandt Story (2025) for the streaming service. Joe Berlinger, known for the Conversations with a Killer series, is also associated with it The Idaho Murders: College Nightmare. He worked as a producer on the new Netflix documentary.
