At the Cinémathèque française, the black and white poster was, to say the least, attractive on this Friday afternoon in June. Marilyn Monroe, Lauren Bacall and Betty Grable invited spectators to approach to watch the session. Or rather the conference. Because this publicity photo from the tasty comedy How to Marry a Millionaire (1953) showing the faces projected on a giant screen of the three actresses from Hollywood’s golden age served above all as an illustration for a technical and erudite presentation on the cinemascope.
