Paramount+ has released the final trailer for the third season of Lioness (2021–2023). The action thriller from Taylor Sheridan, the creator of Yellowstone (2018–2024), follows an elite group of CIA operatives as they fight terrorism around the world.
Personal struggle alongside action
The new season centers on Joe McNamara (Zoe Saldaña), head of the Lioness program, who deploys her team into enemy territory while dealing with personal problems at home. The images suggest that the series will delve deeper into McNamara’s personal story. The explosive action also seems to be amply present in the new season.

Famous Cast Members
In addition to Saldaña, Nicole Kidman, Laysla De Oliveira and Genesis Rodriguez also return in the new season. The cast also includes Oscar winner Morgan Freeman, Michael Kelly and Dave Annable.
Yellowstone
Lioness is created by Taylor Sheridan, who is best known for Yellowstone. That series follows the Dutton family, owners of the largest ranch in the United States. In the series, John Dutton must defend his land against developers, his own children and a neighboring Indian reservation. The series became one of the most watched shows in America and ended in 2024.
