After threatening more than once to impose additional customs tariffs on Canada because of the forest fires, Donald Trump spoke on Saturday of the construction of a giant air filter at the border.

The American president shared on his network Truth Social an AI image of a gigantic filter installed between Canada and the United States.
The immense construction appears several tens of meters high and extends for many kilometers.
“Clean air, clean borders,” reads the fictional sign included in the publication.
The image is not accompanied by any other message from Donald Trump.

During a press briefing on Friday, the tenant of the White House once again threatened to impose additional customs duties to punish Canada because of the smoke caused by forest fires.
The American president spoke of an unprecedented pollution problem and urged Canada to act to resolve the problem.
As of Saturday, some 935 wildfires were active across the country. More than 5,000 firefighters are mobilized across Canada to try to put out the flames.
