This is a significant turnaround which comes at the very end of the investigation, two and a half years after the murder of Thomas Perotto, 16, during a village ball in Crépol (Drôme), in 2023. The investigating judges decided on Monday July 20, 2026 to retain the aggravating circumstance of racism, in their notice of end of judicial investigation addressed to the parties.
