One dead, 15 injured in Ukrainian attacks
One person was killed and 15 others were injured overnight in Ukrainian drone attacks in southern Russia, which notably targeted warehouses of e-commerce giant Wildberries, authorities said on Wednesday.
The company, very popular in Russia, was targeted for the second time in a few days. The previous attack last Saturday on two major Wildberries warehouses near Moscow killed eight night shift workers and caused fires that virtually destroyed the facilities.
According to the governor of the Krasnodar region, Veniamine Kondratiev, ten people were injured in the attack on a warehouse complex there that caught fire. One person was also killed when debris fell from a drone that struck a business in Armavir, he lamented. In Nevinnomyssk, in the Stavropol region (south), where “a warehouse complex caught fire following a drone attack”, five people were injured, said regional governor Vladimir Vladimirov.
