Brian Wilson (1942-2025), soul of the Beach Boys, is the solitary creator of Pet Sounds. Bassist and singer, composer of most of the songs and producer of the American group’s albums, he threw all his strength into this eleventh album. Melodious songs with sophisticated vocal harmonies have made the “beach boys” triumph since their second album, Surfin’ USA in 1963.
