A year after the crisis caused by the election and then the resignation of Marine Rosset as president, the Scouts and Guides of France (SGDF) want to display their newfound serenity. The violent controversy revealed the fractures in French Catholicism and highlighted issues within the education movement, between very broad openness and affirmation of Christian identity.
