Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said they had struck American military targets at a base in Kuwait, according to the official IRNA agency.
Tehran’s Ideological Army claims its forces “completely destroyed a US early warning radar system in a drone strike.” In a separate attack, they struck an aviation equipment and parts depot and an MQ-9 drone hangar at Ali Al-Salem air base, setting several drones on fire,” in a statement released by Irna.
6:51 a.m. – Ship on fire in the Strait of Hormuz
A ship is on fire Monday morning in the Strait of Hormuz, announced the British maritime safety agency UKMTO, without specifying the cause of the fire.
“The UKMTO has been informed by military authorities that a vessel is on fire. The cause of this fire has not been verified at the moment,” the agency wrote on X. It specified that the incident occurred 8 nautical miles (about 15 km) northwest of Kumzar (Oman).
