Lettuce that was sold in some Taco Bell restaurants was linked to the cyclosporosis outbreak in the United States, but the fast food chain clarified that the food is now removed from all locations in Canada and the United States.

US authorities had linked Taylor Farms brand lettuce served in restaurants in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia and Kentucky, according to CNN reports.
On Friday, the chain said it was removed from its entire supply chain nationwide.

“So go ahead and enjoy your meal at Taco Bell today,” the company said on its social media channels.
For its part, Taylor Farms has issued a recall of its iceberg lettuces shipped to 27 US states due to potential contamination with cyclosporosis, the parasite causing thousands of cases of diarrhea across the country, CNN reported.
Remember that more than 7,000 cases were confirmed or declared suspected of cyclosporosis in the United States last Tuesday.
