
The budget battle is open, and it will not be without losses. On Wednesday July 15, the fact-finding mission on the transparency of public finances released its conclusions, and warned: without “immediate” efforts to reduce public spending, the deficit could reach nearly 7% in 2032, and the debt rise to 130.5% of GDP by the same horizon.
