Several American strikes targeted different sectors near the Strait of Hormuz, local authorities said Thursday cited by Iranian media, in the midst of a resumption of hostilities between the United States and Iran.

The Iranian island of Qeshm was hit several times in the early evening “by American missiles,” said the governorate of Hormozgan province, cited by the Iranian Fars agency, information also shared by the Tasnim agency.
And the Bandar Abbas region, on the Iranian coast of the strait, was also targeted by an “air aggression by the American enemy,” according to state television.
According to local authorities cited by television, the attacks did not cause any casualties.
