
“I gave birth in the middle of a furnace. » Delphine gave birth to her first daughter at the Grenoble hospital (Isère) in June, in scorching temperatures. For several days, she remained in bed with her newborn in a room without air conditioning, where the thermometer regularly exceeded 30°C. “The staff did their best and suffered as much as we did,” admits the young mother, whose partner had to install an air conditioner in the room.
