What is The Hawk about?
Lonnie Hawkins (Will Ferrell), the number one golfer of 2004, struggles to recapture his old magic in the fall of his career. His body tells him to stop, but his heart refuses to give up. His ex-wife and his son Lance, the promising newcomer to the golf world, know it is over. But with one more major to win to complete the coveted Grand Slam, Lonnie refuses to believe he isn’t ready. He feels he is just one stroke away from the greatest comeback in golf history.

In addition to Ferrell in the lead role of Lonnie, the cast includes The Hawk also consists of Molly Shannon, Jimmy Tatro, Fortune Feimster, Luke Wilson, Chris Parnell, Katelyn Tarver, David Hornsby, Gabriel Hogan and Aida Osman. Ferrell created and produced the brand new comedy series together with Jessica Elbaum and Alix Taylor.
