Ankara wants to resell Russian anti-aircraft systems
Russia and Turkey are in contact regarding the possible resale by Ankara of Russian anti-missile defense systems to a third country, which requires Moscow’s agreement, the Kremlin announced on Friday July 10.
“We have had contacts with the Turkish side on this subject and we will continue our contacts with the Turkish side on this subject,” declared Kremlin spokesperson Dmitri Peskov, in response to a question during his daily briefing, after the publication of information in a Turkish media close to power on the resale to a Gulf country of these systems purchased in 2017.
Russia: fire in a refinery after a drone attack
Drone attacks targeted several oil infrastructures in southern Russia, sparking a fire at a refinery in the Krasnodar region, authorities said, reporting the destruction of 376 Ukrainian drones overnight.
“As a result of falling drone debris, a fire broke out at the Ilskii refinery,” the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar region said on Telegram, specifying that there were no casualties. The governor of the Rostov region, Yuri Slioussar, also in southern Russia, said two hydrocarbon storage facilities in Azov had caught fire following strikes.
