The summer which opens with this final chronicle of the season will have to answer a pressing question for its author: how not to become an embittered old fart, when everything encourages him to do so? I would like to demonstrate the residual optimism of some of my friends who still want to believe in a negative vote by the National Assembly on the legalization of euthanasia on July 15.
