Fans of the Netflix hit series Stranger Things (2016–2025), we all know Millie Bobby Brown from her role as Eleven, and the actress has of course also starred in other titles such as the Enola Holmes films. We were close to catching the Netflix star shortly after the start of Stranger Things also seen again in a superhero film, but Brown was not chosen.
Truth or lie
In a game-shaped video series by Entertainment Weekly the actress opens up about her screen test for Logan, the Wolverinefilm in which Hugh Jackman plays a deboned version of the clawed mutant. In the video fragment her Enola Holmes co-star Louis Partridge guesses whether her anecdote is true or not, but it turns out to be so.
I did a screen test with Hugh Jackman when I was about 11 or 12 years old (…) I was really devastated. I felt like someone else was better

Foreboding
In the fragment the Stranger Thingsstar explains that during the test she already had the feeling that she would not get the role (it went to Dafne Keen, ed.). Partridge manages to guess that the actress is telling the truth, because at the time of the film’s release she was indeed about the age appropriate for the role.
Since this week you can watch on Netflix Enola Holmes 3 (2026), in which Brown can be seen again as the young teenage detective and ‘sister of’.
