France must recognize a foreign court decision establishing the filiation between the intended parents and their child born through surrogacy (GPA), if it “presents a certain number of guarantees”, the Court of Cassation ruled on Friday July 3.

“Given the best interests of the child, the French ban on surrogacy does not, in itself, allow us to refuse” this recognition, she specifies in a press release.
